~ Volunteers and Board Members
The volunteer program is divided into two categories; docents who conduct the tours explain history, mythology and symbolism and who lead the standard and summer evening tours and support special events. The volunteers for the gift shop support events at the garden and staff the gift shop. There is a Chair and a Vice Chair who conduct monthly meetings. Both volunteers and docents support events such as the Springtime and Autumn events (supported by all entities; staff, advisory, volunteers). The docents/volunteers also enjoy potlucks, they tour other facilities, and attend a yearly docent recognition event.

The gift shop manager manages the gift shop operations, oversees the purchasing: etc. The docent and volunteer programs provide personnel resources to implement these programs as prescribed by the Advisory Board.
